This section includes my transcript and resume. Each of those has an entry slip that explains the content within them. I have tried to draw a parallel between my coursework and my experiences by finding opportunities to bridge the gap between education and psychology. This has been done by conducting research in psychology that has direct implications on education and by finding teaching experiences that relate to my interest in psychology. The common thread that has emerged for me through these two fields is that of language instruction and language acquisition because I was able to connect my understanding of the psychological processes during language acquisition with the pedagogical issues of language instruction.
While I have developed a curriculum around my interests in education and language instruction, the research I have conducted in these topics and the experiences I have had in educational contexts is what defines me as an educator.
