"BAG" SPEECH AND MILESTONES
This speech, written for my Education Practicum course, describes the various milestones throughout my life that have contributed to my desire to be a teacher. It includes foundational factors (family background) as well as factors that have simply helped fine-tune my existing passion (coursework and experiences teaching). This speech shows the development of my perspective. It all began with my care for young children, which has grown to be a passion with the more hands-on experiences I've gained and with the more I learn from my coursework. From my youngest years caring for my 14 younger cousins, to my more recent professional experiences working/interning in school settings, each of these experiences has been a valuable lesson on understanding where I fit in the world.
