WELCOME! 

Welcome to my education studies portfolio!  My name is Amanda Cohen and I'm a recent graduate of Hamilton College, receiving a B.A. in philosophy with a government and education studies double minor.  I hope this portfolio highlights my past experiences in education as well as my hopes to continue pursing a future in the field of education.  Included in this portfolio you will find: some background information on myself, details about my past educational experiences, some work that I have done on current issues in education, how my philosophy concentration has shaped my academic studies, and some resources (both education related and philosophy related) that have been useful to me thus far.  Also, my passion for both education and philosophy come together in the field of educational philosophy, something that I hope to study much more in the future and in graduate school.  Many of the quotes throughout my portfolio come from educational philosophers.  Thanks for taking the time to view my portfolio!
