The Adirondack Seminar, "Forever Wild," involves intensive study of the history, culture, politics, ecology, and geology of the region we now know as the Adirondack Park. Students work together and with faculty to research and present topics on a wide range of possibilities.
This website serves as the main portal for the work we do in the course. There are links to course syllabi and the course blog, and most importantly, students from multiple sections of ES 220 actively build (and rebuild) this website, populating its pages with their individual and group research -- all for public access.
This site thereby contributes to the growing body of knowledge of the Adirondacks; its goal is to provide visitors with a better understanding of this unique region in upstate NY.
This site has been created by a student or students in partial completion of the requirements of a course at Hamilton College, and remains their intellectual property. The views expressed may not represent the views of College or the Trustees.
